From Womb to World
If you are a new parent, grandparent, aunty or uncle, a health care professional or anyone involved in the care of a newborn, I hope this video helps you understand what being born feels like from the baby’s perspective. I hope it allows you to grow a whole new level of compassion and to understand why your arms are your baby's only safe place in the world ♥️
Mastitis or blocked duct?
Rough massage with your knuckles or thumb can damage your milk ducts and cause more inflammation. Remember to always continue feeding the baby from the affected breast but don’t hyper-stimulate by feeding more often that regular and don’t use a pump. Apply ice frequently to the affected area to help reduce inflammation and take Ibuprofen unless it’s not medically indicated in your case.
